The first/inaugural edition of the Women's Under-19 T20 World Cup was also won by India in 2023.

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has awarded the India Women’s Under-19 Cricket Team Rs 5 crore for winning back-to-back T20 World Cups. The Niki Prasad-led team won seven consecutive matches to lift the cup at the Bayuemas Oval in Kuala Lumpur earlier today (February 2).

India’s dominant Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup performance

Team India never lost more than two wickets the five times they chased a target in the tournament. The remaining two times, they won by 60 and 150 runs, respectively. One of the most dominant ICC performances by a team, senior or junior.

As for the final, the South Africa Under-19 Women’s Team was restricted to just 81, owing to an overall great bowling performance from the Women in Blue. When it came to chasing, Team India took just 11.2 overs to seal the win the match and the Women’s Under-19 T20 World Cup 2025 trophy.
