BCCI announces India Women’s Cricket team squad for 5-match T20I series against Bangladesh

In 2023, they competed in three T20Is and as many ODIs, securing a 2-1 victory in the T20I series and drawing the ODI series 1-1.

The India Women’s Cricket team are preparing for a five-match T20I Series against Bangladesh, set to kick off on April 28. They will reach Bangladesh for the IND vs BAN series on April 23. Before the series, the BCCI has unveiled the squad for the matches.

All five games of the series will be held in Sylhet. The first three matches will be played in the main stadium, while the remaining two will be held at an alternate venue. The match timings will differ, with three games starting at 6:30 pm local time and the other two commencing at 2 pm.

Both teams view this series as crucial preparation for the upcoming ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2024, set to take place in Bangladesh in September. Bangladesh aims to utilize the home advantage, while India looks to leverage their familiarity with the conditions.
