Melbourne Stars concluded the year 2023 with a commanding seven-wicket triumph over Adelaide Strikers in a thrilling BBL 13 encounter on Sunday. Beau Webster, Glenn Maxwell, and Marcus Stoinis played pivotal roles as the Stars successfully chased down a formidable 206-run target with seven wickets in hand and in just 19 overs. The highlight of the clash came from Beau Webster, who stole the show with a remarkable 108-meter six.

In the 19th over, Marcus Stoinis showcased his prowess by smashing three massive sixes off pacer James Bazley. However, it was Webster’s breathtaking six that left the audience in awe at Adelaide Oval on New Year’s Eve.

Continuing his excellent form in the BBL 2023-24, Webster notched an impressive fifty and treated fans to a colossal 108-meter six off Brendan Doggett in the 11th over. Webster’s shot, launched from Doggett’s half-pitch delivery, soared over deep mid-on into the second tier at Adelaide Oval.
