Bazballers return! England land in Rajkot for IND vs ENG 3rd Test after short break in Abu Dhabi

England have landed in Rajkot three days before the third Test starts. However, their trip to Abu Dhabi wasn't as enjoyable, with Jack Leach ruled out of the series.

The break is over! The England cricket team has returned to India after enjoying their short one-week stay in Abu Dhabi. The Ben Stokes-led side has landed in Rajkot for the upcoming IND vs ENG 3rd Test.

The visitors had decided to not stay in India and instead travel to Abu Dhabi after the end of the second Test in Vizag. England had prepared for the India vs England series in the UAE and decided to cool off in the destination rather than stay in India for an extended period of time.

This decision by the touring party had offended the BCCI, which unwillingly paid for their trip. However, head coach Brendon McCullum had come to his team’s defense, calling Abu Dhabi the closest thing to their home (England).

Jack Leach-less England return to India

Ben Stokes and Co. may have returned to India, but not without suffering a blow. Their premier spinner, Jack Leach, has been ruled out of the remainder of the IND vs ENG Test series.

The left-arm orthodox spinner was playing his first match since June last year and had suffered a knee injury in Hyderabad. The spinner was first ruled out in the second Test in Vizag and now from the whole series.
