After England initially appeared to dominate the Ranchi Test, a resilient Dhruv Jurel and the Indian spin attack turned the tables on day three.

Jurel’s impressive 90 and the combined efforts of R Ashwin and Kuldeep dismantled England’s batting order, leaving the match once again finely balanced, reminiscent of the series’ first two games.

Ashwin’s crucial wickets, including Duckett, Pope, and Root, set England back at 65/3 before sealing his five-wicket haul with dismissals of Foakes and Anderson.
