Taskin's presence will be crucial for Bangladesh's World Cup campaign, which kicks off against Sri Lanka on June 7th in Dallas. The team is confident that he will be fit and ready to contribute by then.

Taskin Ahmed, Bangladesh’s pace bowler, is undergoing rehabilitation in the USA and is expected to be fit in time for their opening game of the T20 World Cup 2024 against Sri Lanka. However, he is likely to miss the upcoming warm-up match against India on June 1st.

Taskin’s inclusion in the World Cup squad was a gamble after he suffered a rib fracture.
