Suryakumar Yadav is back in the practice session for Mumbai Indians. The World Number 1 T20I batter has finally got his clearance from the National Cricket Academy (NCA). He has joined the MI camp ahead of MI vs DC clash. It is still however unclear about his participation in the upcoming clash.

Mumbai Indians are in a precarious position. They lie at the bottom of the IPL 2024 Points Table after losing their opening 3 games. Now as a band-aid SKY has joined the squad. The ace batter was seen hitting his trademark 360 shots all across the park in Wankhede.

It is a huge boost for Mumbai Indians that their ace batter is back in the mixes. But since he has just joined the camp a day prior to the MI vs DC clash, it remains to be seen if he will play any role in the game. The Blue Army has missed SKY dearly as they slumped to the bottom of the points table.

Mumbai Indians has missed X-Factor of SKY which they have so dearly hoped for. The batter picked up an ankle injury in IND vs SA 3rd T20I. He underwent the knife for the same. This was also followed by a sports hernia operation. Therefore, it remains to be seen if SKY is declared fit for the upcoming game in IPL 2024.
