‘Baby’s day out’ WATCH SKY pulling legs of Tilak Varma via this celebration

Tilak Varma is in scintillating form in the ongoing T20 series against West Indies as he scored one fifty and got one 40 plus score

Tilak Varma: The bonding between Tilak Varma and Rohit Sharma & Ritika’s daughter Samaira gets better and better. After dedicating his international fifty to the toddler, Varma was seen goofing around in USA ahead of the fourth India vs West Indies T20I. Suryakumar Yadav captured Varma’s antics and uploaded them on Twitter. The southpaw stood beside a huge toy Dinosaur and imitated baby Samaira’s cute celebration gesture.

Surya gave a fitting caption to the post stating, “Tilak Varma doing Rohit Sharma’s daughter celebration in USA.” The Southpaw aced the causal look by donning a chic printed shirt and pants. With series in line, India will take on West Indies in Florida on Saturday (August 12). Hardik Pandya & Co need to win two T20Is to clinch the T20 series. The visitors displayed dominating performance in the third T20I and will be aiming to continue with the same momentum in the USA-led of T20 series.

Tilak Varma: Tilak Varma hopes to continue sizzling form in the middle order against Windies

Speaking about Tilak Varma, the 20-year-old is off to a dream start in T20Is managing to score 39, 51, and 49 in the three T20Is. The southpaw has nailed the number four spot and is looking fearless at the crease. He has batted at difficult situations each time, but Tilak Varma is not bogged down by the situation as he displayed great composure. Such has been Tilak’s confidence that calls to include him in World Cup as a wild card has gathered steam.

Ravichandran Ashwin opines the southpaw could turn out to be the X factor, India are seeking at the World Cup. “His batting style is very unlike for an Indian making his international debut. His game resembles a lot like Rohit Sharma. He sweats on the pull shot. Generally, India batters won’t set up to play the pull shot. It is something they develop later. But his game looks like he has a natural pull shot and sends the ball outside the rope like an Aussie batter,” Ashwin said in his recent YouTube video.

“Sanju Samson has performed really well in ODIs. But the exciting part about Tilak Varma is that he is a left-hander and Team India is lacking left-handers. Jaddu is the only left-handed batter in the top 7. And look at the off-spinners from all the top teams. Australia have Ashton Agar. England have Moeen Ali and a leggie in Adil Rashid. So most teams don’t have a finger spinner to challenge the left-handed batters. That is why the emergence of Tilak is crucial,” Ashwin opined.

It is a very remote chance that Tilak might be included for the World Cup. But so far, the 20-year-old has shown he belongs at this level owing to his terrific temperament.
