Pakistan’s stalwart Babar Azam is ready to fight back with a new start to the year after his awful 2023 where he did not manage to even score a fifty in Test cricket.
Ahead of the 3rd PAK vs AUS Test in Sydney, Babar hit the nets to prepare for the final Test to find his form back.
This year was a nightmare for the talented batter as he was surrounded by controversies. He was sacked from captaincy, did not score runs and faced backlashes from his own broad.
Babar has played five Test this year and scored 204 runs at a poor average of 22.66. The current tour of Australia only intensified Babar Azam’s challenges. In the first Test, he scored 21 and 14 runs. In second Test, he scored 1 and 41 runs. 41 runs is the highest innings for Babar this year.
The 3rd and final Test match between Pakistan and Australia will start on January 3 in Sydney.
