Former India cricket team keeper-batter Dinesh Karthik defended Pakistan’s Babar Azam amid his poor form in the ongoing PAK vs BAN Test series. After failing to score runs in the 1st Test, the former Pakistan skipper was dismissed for a duck in the 1st innings of the second match in Rawalpindi.
Speaking on Cricbuzz, Karthik opined that Babar was a player who had all the qualities to shine. He urged the former skipper to rethink his strategy before taking the field again.
No doubt over Babar Azam’s quality
“Babar Azam as a player, nobody can doubt his quality. He’s got outstanding batting potential, though I feel he’s under a lot of pressure as a skipper. That’s something that they need to rethink about,” Karthik said on Cricbuzz’s HeyCB with DK show.
