Babar & Co reach Ahmedabad for blockbuster India vs Pakistan WC clash

The Men in Blue will arrive in Gujarat city on Thursday

After completing the Hyderabad leg of the ODI World Cup 2023, Babar Azam & Co reached Ahmedabad. For their next match in WC at Narendra Modi Stadium on October 14, Pakistan will play against India. The India vs Pakistan (IND vs PAK) clash is probably the most hyped-up clash in cricket and team Pakistan looks all set for that match.

The BCCI will be hoping for a crowded house for the India vs Pakistan match at Narendra Modi Stadium. Indian board has now thrown all of its support behind the India vs Pakistan extravaganza after the opening match between England and New Zealand attracted far fewer spectators than expected.

India vs Pakistan World Cup clash

Having faced off seven times in World Cups, India and Pakistan have a long-standing rivalry in cricket.

India has triumphed in each of the seven situations, a trend that includes triumphs in T20 World Cups. However, this streak was broken in 2021; however, India came back in the 2022 edition with a stunning win, reasserting their dominance over their arch-rivals.

Regarding the Sri Lanka vs Pakistan game, Kusal Mendis’ incredible century and Sadeera Samarawickrama’s ton contributed to SL’s first innings score of 344/9.

The Lankans appeared to be ahead of Pakistan when Babar Azam left the game in the eighth over of the reply with the score at just 37/2.

However, a third-wicket standoff of 176 runs between Mohammad Rizwan and Abdullah Shafique created the basis for Pakistan extraordinary six-wicket victory, which they then completed with 10 balls to spare.

Team India is currently in Delhi for Afghanistan clash. And the Men in Blue will arrive in Gujarat city on Thursday. The IND vs PAK clash is set to be held on Saturday.
