Why PCB have issued a strict warning to Babar Azam?
- The Pakistan skipper came under criticism when a picture was posted on social media that showed his young bother Safeer practicing
- Pakistan pacer Shahnawaz Dahani was the bowler who was seen bowling to the young aspiring cricketer
- Soon the post went viral and it created quite a bit of stir. PCB’s policies clearly state that only Pakistan players, first-class players, or junior level players are allowed practice in the high-performance center
- Safeer does not fall into any of these categories and hence PCB issued him a strict warning

“Babar came to the center three-four days back with his brother and this was before the conditioning camp had begun. And his brother later held nets which were brought to the notice of the board,” a reliable source in the PCB said.
Babar Azam Trouble: PCB is unhappy that skipper Azam breached protocols
PCB were upset about how the whole issue panned out and now they have told him to not repeat this mistake. “He is our national team captain and the matter was handled in a manner where he was politely reminded about the situation and he agreed,” the source said.
