PSL 2024: Babar Azam breaks free from poor form, smashes 100 in Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi clash

Babar Azam remained unbeaten for his 111 runs in just 63 deliveries during the Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi PSL match.

Babar Azam smashed the first century of the ongoing Pakistan Super League (PSL 2024) during the Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi clash being played on February 26 (Monday). Coming out to bat, Babar Azam looked calm as ever as he propelled his side to an above-par score in the Islamabad United vs Peshawar Zalmi clash at the Gadaffi Stadium in Lahore.

Speaking more about Babar Azam innings, Babar Azam started off on a cautious note as he normally does but picked up the pace after his fifty. Babar was fierce against Naseem Shah’s brother Hunain Shah in the 18th over of the first innings as he smashed him with 23 runs in it. He hit four fours in that over along with a six and a single and continued his onslaught till the last over ending with an unbeaten knock of 111 off 63 balls.

Babar Azam T20 centuries

This was Babar Azam’s 11th T20 century overall. The right-handed batter is amongst one of the best batters produced by Pakistan. He is surely expected to increase his numbers in the coming years.
