IND vs SA: Avesh Khan added to India’s squad for 2nd Test

Indian pacer Avesh Khan will join the Indian squad for the second Test match against South Africa in Cape Town.

Avesh Khan was added to Indian squad on Friday for the 2nd Test match against South Africa in Cape Town, which will start on January 3.

Avesh has joined Team India as a replacement for Mohammed Shami. Shami was ruled out of the entire Test IND vs SA series due to an ankle injury.

After India’s humiliating loss in the 1st Test in Centurion, where the bowlers failed to deliver, Avesh could be looked as an option now.

The 27-year-old has played 38 first-class matches where he has taken 149 wickets at an average of 22.65.
