AUS vs WI: Matthew Short sustains hamstring injury, to miss remainder of 2nd ODI

Australia pacer Matt Short will not take the field for the remainder of AUS vs WI 2nd ODI after experiencing tightness in his hamstring

Australia pacer Matt Short will not take the field for the remainder of AUS vs WI 2nd ODI. Cricket Australia announced that the bowler experienced hamstring tightness and hence he would not participate in the rest of the game. He will be reviewed by the medical staff in the coming days.

AUS vs WI: Short ruled out of remainder of 2nd ODI

Australia managed to put up 258 runs on board in 50 overs after a string of failures from the top-order batters. Short played a 41-run knock before he was caught and bowled by Motie. Sean Abott top scored for the side with a handy 69-run knock.

Gudkesh Motie was the standout bowler for the Men in Maroon, with 3 wickets to his name. Romario Shepherd and Alzarri Joseph picked up two wickets each as West Indies managed to reduce Australia down to 9 wickets at the end of their innings.
