Notably, his best performance at the MCG occurred last year when he scored a double hundred against South Africa.
In Australia’s ongoing Boxing Day Test, the left-hander managed only six runs in the second innings before Mir Hamza dismissed him in the fifth over. Hamza initiated with a shorter delivery outside off. Warner, attempting a pull shot, ended up dragging a thick inside edge back onto the middle stump.
Meanwhile, David Warner is set bid adieu to Test cricket in the upcoming Benaud-Qadir Test against Pakistan at the SCG.
