Virat goes all guns blazing in first net session ahead of IND vs PAK
In a video that has gone viral on the social media, Virat was seen all guns blazing as he showcased his aggressive nature in the nets. The former India captain took on teammates Ravindra Jadeja and Yuzivendra Chahal as he stepped down the ground to clear the ropes.
He was seen in no mood of compromise and showed his class while taking the aerial route. The Pakistan team was also seen watching Virat Kohli go the distance as they were in the stands.
Ahead of the clash rivals Babar Azam and Virat Kohli had a candid chat days before the duo go head to head in Dubai this weekend. Both India and Pakistan have arrived in the UAE and started their practice ahead of their tournament opener. The duo looked in good spirits despite the great rivalry between them and their sides.

Virat switches to MRF Gold Wizard
On Sunday Virat Kohli will play his 100th T20I match with a new bat, MRF Gold Wizard. He will switch from MRF Genius. The 100th match will interestingly be against Pakistan on August 28. But this time, focus will be on Kohli’s form rather everything else. Kohli is going through a rather long lean patch and will hope to hit top gear in the Asia Cup 2022.
The 1.15kilogram bat is slightly heavier than Kohli’s existing willow which weighs around 1.1kilogram. The lighter weight helps Kohli change the trajectory of a shot at the last moment. The new bat was revealed by YouTube channel Sports Launchpad.
Kohli is one of the gifted batters with brilliant wrist movements. But the minor change in weight could also help him hit the balls longer.
