Asia Cup 2023 Schedule releasing today, all eyes on India vs Pakistan matches

Asia Cup 2023 is likely to start on August 31 with six teams competing. Pakistan and Sri Lanka will co-host the Continental Cup.

The wait will finally be over as the schedule of Asia Cup 2023 will be released today. As expected, all eyes will be on blockbuster India vs Pakistan matches. The two arch-rivals will face each other two times in Dambulla after BCCI and PCB agreed to hybrid model. While Colombo was the favorite to host India vs Pakistan Asia Cup 2023 matches, Dambulla is the likely venue that edged ahead to bag the most crucial match of the Continental Cup.

InsideSport understands the two India vs Pakistan matches in all likelihood will be held in Dambulla. If the teams qualify for the final, there could be a 3rd game at that venue. After a lot of contemplation, PCB chief Zaka Ashraf and BCCI secretary Jay Shah met in Durban to discuss the schedule and venues of the Continental Cup and agreed to play nine matches in Sri Lanka. Four matches will be played in Pakistan, and the venues for the same will be out tomorrow.
