Asia Cup 2023: Pakistan likely to PULL OUT of Asia Cup as jinxed tournament set to be shifted to Sri Lanka, Follow LIVE Updates

Insidesport

As per the latest developments, the hosting venue of the Asia Cup 2023 is most likely to be shifted to SriLanka. This comes after both SriLanka Cricket and the Bangladesh Cricket decided to lend their support to the BCCI in order to move the tournament away from Pakistan. Though the PCB’s threats of boycotting the Asia Cup is evident, there is no assurance that the team will take part in the upcoming World Cup set to be held in India.

As Pakistan are on the verge of losing their Asia Cup hosting rights, the PCB has other plans to make provision for the team to play and prepare for the mega tournament (if they play). PCB has been in contact with South Africa, West Indies, Zimbabwe and Ireland and is keen to host a tri-series tournament in that span of time.
