Renowned singers like Aima Baig, & Nepal’s Trishala Gurung dazzled the audience with their mesmerizing voices at the Multan Cricket Stadium. After the fireworks action now shifts to cricket as Pakistan take on Nepal in the Asia Cup opener.
Pakistan will face Nepal in the Opening Clash in Multan
As mentioned above, Multan will host the Asia Cup 2023 opening ceremony at the Multan Cricket Stadium before the Pakistan vs Nepal match. Pakistan have won the toss and have elected to bat first. Considering the pitch in Multan is a bit on the drier side, Azam said at the toss to cash in on batting first. Although it was the first match of the Asia Cup, fans did not turn out in huge numbers to attend the match in Multan.
