Ashes 2021 schedule: Perth will reportedly host the Ashes series finale instead of Sydney when Tim Paine’s Australia take on Joe Root’s England in five Test series. According to a report by the Age, this will be for the first time since 1995, the fifth and the final Ashes Test would not take place in the Harbour City. The Ashes 2021 will begin from December 8, with Brisbane, Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney picked as venues for the first four matches.

Ashes 2021 schedule: What will be the complete fixture?
Australia’s top players will face Afghanistan in one Test which will be a warm-up for the Ashes. Cricket Australia is planning to unveil the schedule next week for their calendar starting from October to mid-February.
After this, the Men Down Under will kick off their defence against the Three Lions at the once impregnable fortress at the gabba, where they had suffered a lost in 32 years before a historic defeat to India in January.
Following this the series will travel to Adelaide for a pink-ball day-night Test. Australia are currently unbeaten in their last eight Tests under lights.

Ashes 2021 schedule: Dates for Australia vs England 2nd and 3rd Test
Cricket Australia are yet to finalise the dates for Brisbane and Adelaide games, but with the Ashes kicking off on December 9 at Gabba would mean the second Test kick off by the 16th of the same month.

Melbourne and Sydney retain their traditional Christmas and New Year’s fixtures, but the SCG Test will start on January 5, allowing players an extra few days’ breaks after a hectic period that will see Australia play four Tests in five weeks.
Perth will host the final Ashes Test in a break with tradition, likely to start on January 14. It will be the latest finish to an Ashes series in Australia since 1994-95, which concluded in Perth in February.
