Hardik Pandya engages in long conversation with Rohit Sharma after MI’s loss to GT

GT vs MI: Following Mumbai Indian's loss to Gujarat Titans Hardik Pandya engages in long conversation with Rohit Sharma

The battle might have been over, but the War is still on. Mumbai Indians faced defeat at the hands of Gujarat Titans in Motera. Hardik Pandya’s reign as the captain of the Mumbai outfits began with a loss. However, after the game, Hardik was spotted engaged in a long conversation with former skipper Rohit Sharma.

Not just after the game, even during the match while fielding, Hardik looked for advices from his ex skipper. Till last season, Rohit Sharma has lead the Blue Army. In fact in the National Team, it is Rohit who continues to captain the team.

With MI looking to invest on the young players, they decided to appoint Hardik as the captain. Ahead of IPL 2024 Auction, Hardik made a sensational homecoming to Mumbai after spending 2 seasons in Gujarat.

Hardik Pandya is an able captain. He won the title on his maiden captaincy season with GT. He reached the finals in the previous season, where he ended up being the runners up.

But captaining Mumbai is a different cup of tea. Still in his nascent stage of captaincy, Hardik relied on his former captain for some much needed guidance and tips. After the conclusion of the game, the duo was engaged in a long conversation. Hardik will be hopeful for a change in fortunes when they face SRH in the next game.
