Something are written in your destiny to happen, and Virat Kohli experienced that feeling against Bangladesh in the World Cup match in Pune. At one time, Kohli was racing against time to get to his 48th ODI hundred, a wide was not given a wide, and at that moment, the 35-year-old felt it was his day. Eventually, Kohli got to his hundred, and Twitter erupted, pouring in appreciation posts for the former India captain. However, the most awaited post came much later from his better half Anushka Sharma.
Like many other netizens, the Bollywood Actress did not sing praises for Kohli but instead took to Instagram to drop a Kiss heart emoji. In the post by Anushka, Kohli was seen roaring, a rare sight nowadays, considering he has mellowed down a lot. However, Anushka’s adorable gesture for hubby was all of India’s reaction as finally Kohli managed to get the first hundred of this edition’s World Cup.

Kohli’s century though could not have been possible had KL Rahul not supported his partner at the other end. Rahul raced away to 20 but soon realized his partner has a golden chance to score his third WC hundred. Rahul was more than happy to play second fiddle and allowed Kohli to get to the magical landmark. The duo stitched on an unbroken 73-run stand and enabled India to win by seven wickets.
Virat Kohli’s sublime hundred, Ravindra Jadeja’s all-round heroics powres India to 4th win WC
While everyone is talking about Kohli’s century, Ravindra Jadeja was the star with the ball in hand and field. The southpaw took two wickets and took a blinder of a catch to send the dangerous Mahamadullah. It was Jadeja’s economical spell that put the brakes on Bangladesh’s innings.
India have now won all the four matches that they have played. They will next take on New Zealand on Sunday (October 22).
