The injury list keeps increasing! We may have another causality in the IPL 2024. After suffering a hamstring injury against LSG, the all-rounder has been ruled out of the GT vs PBKS match. The omission has cast a shadow over Punjab’s playoff qualification chances, having already suffered two losses in 3 matches.
Livingstone has joined a lost list of players who have missed out on action or have been ruled out. Suryakumar Yadav and Devon Conway may still have a chance to return from injury, while others like Lungi Ngidi, Mohammed Shami, Mujeeb ur Rahman, and Robin Minz have been ruled out.
Is Liam Livingstone out of IPL 2024?
Talking with InsideSport, a Punjab Kings source confirmed that Liam Livingstone “will remain with the squad and has not returned home after his injury”. Yesterday, PBKS assistant coach Trevor Gonsalves confirmed that Livingstone is in much better shape compared to before.
“Livingstone is in much better shape as compared to how he was a couple of days ago. We will be taking a call on his inclusion in the playing XI tomorrow. The physios are working with him,” Gonsalves said.
