Team India has arrived in Kanpur for the India vs Bangladesh 2nd Test. Leading the series 1-0, the hosts were chipper as they made their way from Chennai. The BCCI released a video of their 1800 km journey with several fun moments. Sarfaraz Khan poked fun at his Mumbai and India teammate Yashasvi Jaiswal, but the best part was when the three best Indian Test players at the moment, Jasprit Bumrah, Ravichandran Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja, were having some fun before they flew to Kanpur.
Thala, No ‘Anna for a Reason’
Ashwin was captured wearing a cool pair of shades in the airplane, and Bumrah cheekily said, “Anna for a reason” as the camera panned towards the off-spinner. Sitting to Ashwin’s left, his partner in crime, Jadeja joined in on the fun as well, repeating what Bumrah said and then loudly saying “Ash anna”.
“They are just bullying me, (a) pour soul,” Ashwin said. Replaying to the ‘Player of the Match’ in Chennai, Bumrah chirped that they were “words of appreciation” while giving a thumbs up to the camera.
