Also, they won the T20I series against Sri Lanka 3-0. However, these results could not overshadow the ODI series performance, which shocked everyone. Playing against Sri Lanka, India, for the first time since 1997, lost the series 2-0.
This loss is significant as the ICC Champions Trophy is coming next year with millions of expectations.
