Air India special flight touches down in Barbados to bring Indian contingent back home

The BCCI organized a special Air India flight for the coaches, cricket players, their families and Indian media persons to return to India.

In the midst of Hurricane Beryl, a special Air India flight has touched down in Barbados to evacuate Team India. On this flight, the team will return to India, according to news agency ANI. Following their victory in the T20 World Cup 2024, Team India was left stranded in Barbados by Hurricane Beryl, a category 4 storm.

Flight finally arrives in the Caribbean

The BCCI organized a special Air India flight for the coaches, cricket players, and their families to return to India. The Indian media representatives who went to cover the tournament but became stranded because of the hurricane will also be transported on the special chartered flight organized by BCCI secretary Jay Shah.
