BCCI AGM on September 25 in Mumbai ahead of ODI WC

The ODI World Cup 2023 will begin on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad with a heavyweight match between reigning champions England and New Zealand.

The 92nd Annual General Meeting (AGM) of the BCCI will take place on September 25 in Mumbai. The last BCCI AGM took place in Mumbai on October 18, 2022.

This Annual General Meeting will take ahead of the coveted ODI World Cup 2023 in India.

And it is expected that main focus of the BCCI AGM will be on the World Cup and it’s preparations.

IPL 2024 will also be discussed briefly alongside the burning topic of Indian Women’s cricket team next head coach.

The selection of the new head coach and the support staff for the Indian women’s team appears to have been postponed till the beginning of the new international home season in December.

In this BCCI AGM, top officials of Indian board will likely check on composition of upcoming ODI World Cup 2023.

The ODI World Cup 2023 will begin on October 5 at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad with a heavyweight match between reigning champions England and New Zealand. At Kolkata’s renowned Eden Gardens Stadium, England will square off against Pakistan in the last Group Stage match.

On November 15th, the first semi-final will take place in Mumbai, and the second semi-final will take place in Kolkata the following day. There will be a reserve day for each of the semi-finals.

The Final will be held at Ahmedabad’s Narendra Modi Stadium on November 19, with November 20 set aside as a backup date.

Hyderabad, Ahmedabad, Dharamsala, Delhi, Chennai, Lucknow, Pune, Bengaluru, Mumbai, and Kolkata will be among the ten locations.

The warm-up games will be played in Hyderabad, Guwahati, Thiruvananthapuram, and Thiruvananthapuram from September 29 to October 3.
