“Aggressive and humble”: Sanju Samson’s key to century
In a candid conversation with SKY after the win, Sanju Samson talks about how consistent hard work paid off finally. When asked about choosing the boundary route to reach his hundred, Samson pointed out that it was in tune with the team atmosphere that was created since the series against Sri Lanka when Gautam Gambhir and SKY took over the reins from Rahul Dravid and Rohit Sharma.
“The team atmosphere that we have created for these many weeks since Sri Lanka, the only message is ‘jao bhai, aggressive khelo’. Aggressive and humble are the two words that the captain and coach keep reminding us. It suits my nature,” Samson said.
