Imagine a game. Your team has a chance of winning for just 2.48%. And the team overcomes all odds when chips are down to clinch a sensational win. That is what the Indian Cricket Team achieved today. Pakistan Cricket Team were tasked to chase a paltry target of 120 runs in 20 overs in tricky pitch conditions. But the Men in Green started batting well and managed to score 66/2 after 11 overs. With 54 runs needed from equal balls, they had a win prediction of 97.52%.

What followed next was probably a climax of a suspense thriller. Team India’s bowling unit came out firing with all guns blazing. The likes of Hardik Pandya and Jasprit Bumrah teamed up to break Pakistan’s back as the batting side collapsed. In the end, it was India who emerged victorious with 6 runs.

From the Jaws of Defeat

India needed something special from their bowling department after the batting failure. And it is safe to say the bowling team produced it to perfection. It took India just 45 minutes to turn the game in it’s head. The consecutive wickets of Fakhar Zaman, Shadab Khan, and Mohammad Rizwan was enough to break Pakistan’s back.

The Indian bowlers continued to pile up the pressure to send the tailenders packing. As a result, the Men in Blue scripted a sensational win from a situation when the chips were all down as they had just 2% chance of winning the game.
