After reuniting with Anushka, Virat Kohli jets off to Kolkata as RCB prepare to take on KKR

RCB are winless in their last five game and are desperately looking to get their IPL campaign back on track with a win against KKR.

Royal Challengers Bengaluru batter Virat Kohli on Friday was spotted at the Bengaluru airport leaving for Kolkata to play their next match against the Kolkata Knight Riders at the Eden Gardens. Kohli reunited with his wife Anushka Sharma after the latter returned to India a few days ago along with their second child.

Kohli’s Royal Challengers Bengaluru will play Kolkata Knight Riders next at the iconic Eden Gardens Stadium in Kolkata. Virat Kohli was spotted at the airport wearing a casual tee, a faded blue cargo and sneakers. Despite Anushka returning to India, she was not spotted with Kohli at the airport. Their second child is just a few months old. As a result, Anushka is not expected to be present at the Eden Gardens.

RCB face mammoth task

RCB will look to get their IPL campaign back on track with a win against KKR. The side, led by Faf du Plessis, are winless in their last 5 games. It is a monumental task for RCB to get anywhere close to the playoff spots. They are currently at the 10th spot of IPL with only one win in 7 matches so far. The KKR vs RCB match is likely to be a close one.

KKR on the other hand are 2nd in the IPL table with only two losses in six matches. Their batting has been excellent, although there remains some question about their bowling.
