With the pitch getting better as the match progressed, team India took full advantage of the good batting conditions and posted a mammoth 487/6 in their second innings. Yashasvi Jaiswal and Virat Kohli were star of the show for the Indian side with the bat.
Despite some late fightback for the Aussies, the home side could only muster 238 runs in their second as team India won the IND vs AUS 1st Test match by 238 runs.
