Indian women’s cricketer Jemimah Rodrigues dedicated her special Test debut to her family after playing a special knock in the ongoing IND W vs ENG W Test match in Navi Mumbai. Playing in front of her home crowd, Jemimah Rodrigues played a valiant knock of 68 runs, which included 11 boundaries.
In a series of snapshots uploaded on ‘X’ (formerly Twitter), Rodrigues was seen having a quality time with her family.
“Waited a long time for this day! To make my test debut it in my home town and my parents and brothers joining the team hurdle for the cap presentation is so special! After all the ups and downs we’ve seen as a family together, to see God’s faithfulness together is special,” Rodrigues wrote on X.
Jemimah, a prodigy from her days in Mumbai age-group cricket, had already played 113 games for India at the senior level in white-ball cricket before making her Test debut.
