In a significant announcement, the ACB’s selection committee has unveiled the 18-member Afghanistan squad geared up for the upcoming three-match T20I series against the UAE. Stepping into the captaincy role during his absence is top-order batter Ibrahim Zadran, adding an intriguing twist to the series dynamics.

Among the standout inclusions in the Afghanistan squad are the fast bowlers Fazal Haq Farooqi and Naveen Ul Haq, both reiterating their commitment to represent the nation. This move is anticipated to bolster Afghanistan’s bowling prowess and provide a formidable challenge to their opponents.
