With just a few days remaining, Afghanistan has finally released its squad for the Asia Cup 2023 campaign. No more minnows, the Afghan side will be headed by Hasmatullah Shahidi. Coming off after a bitter 3-0 drubbing by Pakistan in the ODI series, Rashid Khan and Co will be eager to exact revenge in Asia Cup 2023.
The Aghan side recently lost 3-0 to Pakistan in the ODI series in Sri Lanka which has helped Pakistan become ICC’s ODI ranked Number 1 team in the world. With that said and done, the Afghan side will be out for revenge.

Afghanistan will begin their Asia Cup campaign on 3rd September when they take on Bangladesh at Lahore. They will next take on Sri Lanka at Lahore on 5th September.
