Rashid Khan, set to lead Afghanistan in the 2024 T20 World Cup, will lead the team’s bowling charge and his contributions with the bat in the lower order will be valuable.

Rahmanullah Gurbaz and Ibrahim Zadran have a consistent opening partnership in T20Is for Afghanistan. Gurbaz typically provides quick runs with aggressive hitting during the powerplay and beyond, whereas Zadran focuses on building innings steadily, aiming for a longer stay at the crease.

Gulbadin Naib will come to bat at number 3. Azmatullah Omarzai serves as a capable middle-order batsman for Afghanistan, showcasing both solid striking ability and the knack for taking crucial wickets. Mohammad Nabi, not only contributes with his batting and bowling prowess but also brings invaluable experience to the team.

Karim Janat is among the all-rounders in the Afghanistan cricket squad.
