IND BAN Adelaide Weather – Latest Forecast

Leading up to the matchday, signs were not good for India vs Bangladesh fixture. From last two days it has been pouring in Adelaide, especially on Tuesday – so bad for the situation that both the teams had to cancel their training and shift indoors.

Today instead it hasn’t rained. The WEATHER Forecast for the entire day it that it will be very WINDY – But no RAIN till 8PM is forecasted. The match can experience some RAINS but not that heavy that it can disrupt or WASHOUT the game.

There are low (30%) chance of showers but with just 1-3mm rainfall. Team India will take those chances given the probability is dramatically less than the previous two days. Winds will be from west to southwesterly 25 to 35 km/h.

ICC T20 World Cup 2022: Can India qualify for the semi-finals if the IND vs BAN match is washed out?

If rain washes away the game in Adelaide, then India will end with 5 points. The Men in Blues game against Zimbabwe will become a virtual knockout game as a win will take India to 7 points. But if India loses to Zimbabwe, then it will end up with only five points. India will not qualify as a win for either Bangladesh, South Africa, Pakistan, and Zimbabwe will take them to six points.

But if Bangladesh, South Africa, Pakistan, and Zimbabwe loses a game each, then it will come down to net run rate. As all four teams will end up with five or six points. India’s net run rate is luckily on the positive side.
