Bollywood actor and entrepreneur Abhishek Bachchan is now the co-owner of a T20 League. Recently, he became co-owner of the European T20 Premier League (ETPL). This league is officially approved by the International Cricket Council (ICC) and is gearing up to start on July 15th and will run till August 3rd, 2025. The League will have local talent from Ireland, Scotland, and the Netherlands alongside some international stars. Jaipur Pink Panthers (Pro Kabaddi League)
Abhishek Bachchan-owned Jaipur Pink Panthers began in 2014 when he bought the team for the inaugural Pro Kabaddi League (PKL). He had a successful journey in the league, in the inaugural season itself, his side became the champions. After a few seasons, his team reached to the playoffs multiple times. Abhishek has been actively involved in the team’s management and has been a vocal supporter of the sport of Kabaddi. Chennaiyin FC (ISL)
Abhishek Bachchan co-owns Chennaiyin FC as well. This club is a part of the Indian Super League (ISL), alongside AB, Vita Dani and Mahendra Singh Dhoni also have some share in the club. They founded the club in 2014. Chennaiyin FC has enjoyed success in the ISL, clinching the championship twice in 2015 and 2017-18.
