Australian batter Usman Khawaja shared a heartfelt post for his Test partner David Warner who will be playing his last Test on Wednesday in Sydney.
Warner had announced his 3rd Test match against Pakistan to be his farewell from the red-ball cricket before the start of the series.
On Monday, Warner also decided to end his ODI career with the ODI World Cup final to be his last match.
Usman Khawaja posted an emotional picture with a note on his ‘X’ handle.

Warner has scored 8695 runs in 111 Test matches at an average of 44.58 including 26 centuries and 36 fifties. In ODIs, the left-handed batter has scored 6932 runs in 161 matches with 22 hundred and 33 half-centuries.

David Warner had backed Khawaja on the controversy surrounding his shoe.Warner in a comment on social media questioned International Cricket Council’s (ICC) decision to disallow Khawaja to show solidarity with Palestinians in Gaza.
Warner in a social media post commented, “This is a joke considering another team mate has a religious sticker on his bat and so does a West Indian cricket player without for the same governing body.”
