Former skipper Nasser Hussain has called Harry Brook’s withdrawal from IND vs ENG Test series ‘a big blow’. Earlier on Sunday, England and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) announced that Harry Brook has returned to UK due to personal reasons.
Dan Lawrence has been named Brook’s replacement for the 5-match Test series, starting on January 25.
Reacting to the big news, Hussain said that it will be a big blow for the Three Lions but ‘family comes first’,
“Cricket is important and Test cricket is important. But your family and yourself are more important. Hopefully, everything will be. Hopefully, He’ll come back to India at some stage. But the first things first, they must make sure that Harry Brook is fine”, Hussain said on Sky Sports Cricket.
