After Ravichandran Ashwin, star Indian all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja also hit the 500-wicket mark as he completed 500 first-class wickets. Jadeja completed the feat with the crucial wicket of England skipper Ben Stokes on Day 3 of IND vs ENG 3rd Test in Rajkot.
Jadeja, who scored a brilliant century with the bat, picked his 500th wicket in his 125th match.
It was a special moment for the 35-year-old, who reached the milestone at his home ground in Rajkot. Apart from the 500 milestone, Jadeja also completed 200 wickets in India. He became the fifth Indian bowler and fourth Indian spinner to pick 200 wickets on home soil.
