5 Uncapped Players who could earn big bucks in IPL 2025 Mega Auction

The IPL 2025 Mega Auction will take place in Jeddah on 24-25th November

The IPL 2025 Mega Auction is on the horizon and there is an incredible interest among the uncapped players. Be it the likes of highly talented Angkrish Raghuvanshi or the young prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi, teams will be ready to cash in on 5 young players to bolster their squad.

Vaibhav Suryavanshi

At just 13 years of age, Vaibhav Suryavanshi has been making the headlines. He made his first-class debut for Bihar at just 12 years and 284 days for Bihard just a couple of weeks back. His biggest flex comes in the U19 series against Australia where the youngster hammered a brilliant 58-ball century. The young prodigy heads into the IPL 2025 Mega Auction by becoming the youngest player to feature in the IPL Auction.

Angkrish Raghuvanshi

Angkrish Raghuvanshi is a name known to one and all. His highlight came in the U19 World Cup 2022 where he was a part of India’s winning contingent. That saw him getting picked by Chennai Super Kings under the mentorship of MS Dhoni. Last season he made his IPL debut for Kolkata Knight Riders where he stormed to a brilliant 27-ball 54-run knock. Known to have the ability to perform under pressure, teams will be on the lookout to rope in the young batter.

Hardik Raj

The 18-year old spinner has represented India in the U19 category. Though an all-rounder his major ability lies in spinning the ball. His highest achievement came in the Maharaja T20 Trophy where he bagged 7 wickets coupled with amassing a decent 155 runs. Teams will be keen to buy this young all-rounder as he is a rising star.

Ayush Mhatre

At just 17 years of age, Ayush Mhatre is known for his tremendous batting abilities. The young teenage batter shone brightly in the Ranji Trophy where he went on to slam to already register his second ton in First Class cricket. His highest runs stand a brilliant knock of 176 runs. For teams looking for a good middle-order batter, Mahtre would be a perfect fit.

Kwena Maphaka

Kwena Maphaka was a revelation for Mumbai Indians in IPL 2024. His brilliance however came in the U19 World Cup, where the Proteas speedster went on to scalp a whopping 21 wickets. Making his IPL debut at 17 years of age, Kwena Maphaka featured in 2 matches where he scalped a solitary wicket. A player deemed for greatness, teams will be eager to rope in the youngster to bolster their pace attack.
