Player | Team | Price |
Venkatesh Iyer | KKR | Rs. 23.75 crore |
Yuzvendra Chahal | PBKS | Rs. 18 crore |
Jitesh Sharma | PBKS | 11 crore |
Noor Ahmad | CSK | 10 crore |
Jofra Archer | RR | 12.5 crore |
Venkatesh Iyer
Iyer has been bought by KKR for Rs. 23.75 crore. Previously, he was acquired by Kolkata for Rs. 8 crore in the IPL 2024 auction, marking a significant surge in his value.
Yuzvendra Chahal
Yuzvendra Chahal, the highest wicket-taker in IPL history, was bought by PBKS for Rs. 18 crore in the auction. However, considering his current form, Rs. 18 crore seems like a hefty price.
Jitesh Sharma
Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) chose not to buy KL Rahul for Rs. 14 crore and instead secured Jitesh Sharma as their wicketkeeper-batter for Rs. 11 crore. While Jitesh is a promising player, Rs. 11 crore seems slightly overpriced.
Noor Ahmad
Chennai Super Kings (CSK) have bought Noor Ahmad for a whopping Rs. 10 crore, marking a significant boost to his salary. However, Noor Ahmad is still inexperienced and needs to further sharpen his skills.
Jofra Archer
The last-minute entrant Jofra Archer secured a good deal, being bought by Rajasthan Royals for Rs. 12.5 crore. However, the pacer remains surrounded by uncertainty due to fitness concerns and recurring injuries.
