Shaun Tait has the record of bowling the fastest delivery in IPL. In 2011, playing for Rajasthan Royals (RR) Shaun Tait delivered the fastest speed of 157.71 km/h. Australian bowler has 23 wickets in 21 wickets at a strike rate of 8.12.

Lockie Ferguson

Gujarat Titans (GT) former bowler Lockie Ferguson has registered the second-quickest ball in IPL. In IPL 2022, he bowled at a speed of 157.3 KPH. Ferguson was bought by Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) in 2023 and released after the first season. He is now in the IPL 2024 Auction.

Umran Malik

India’s young bowler Umran Malik became an overnight sensation when he reached a speed beyond 150 KPH while playing for SRH. He delivered a 157 KPH speed ball which was third fastest in IPL.

Anrich Nortje

Playing for Delhi Capital (DC), the South African bowler Anrich Nortje bowled at a speed of 156.22 KPH.

Dale Steyn

Legendary bowler Dale Steyn has also made it to the list of bowlers with the fastest ball in IPL history. He has bowled at 154.4 KPH speed.
