The IPL 2025 saw some of the best bargain buys in the IPL 2025 Mega Auction. While players like Rishabh Pant and Shreyas Iyer went for big bucks, there are however players who were sold for much less compared to their skills and abilities. Here we take a look at some of the best bargain buys of the IPL 2025 Mega Auction.

Washington Sundar (₹3.2 Crore, Gujarat Titans)

Washington Sundar was bought by Gujarat Titans for a cut price of 3.2 crores. And now this is a very good bye for the Titans who have roped in an extremely talented player. Sundar is an able all-rounder whose batting and bowling prowess makes him one of the best in the business. He has an impressive economy of 6.87 in T20s after having scalped 47 wickets from 52 games.

Faf Du Plessis (₹2 Crore, Delhi Capitals)

Royal Challengers Bengaluru bid adieu to their captain Faf du Plessis after not retaining the Proteas legend on IPL Retention Day. Though age is not on his side, he is still one of the best hard hitters that have donned the league. Delhi Capitals pounced on the opportunity to rope in the former South African skipper at his base price of 2 crores.

Quinton de Kock (₹3.6 Crore, Kolkata Knight Riders)

Proteas keeper and opener Quinton de Kock now has a new home. After being released by LSG, he went under the hammer and was bought by defending champions Kolkata Knight Riders for a very modest price of 3.6 crores. De Kock’s ability to play well under pressure makes him one of the best in the business coupled with his keeping abilities.

Mitchell Starc (₹11.75 Crore, Delhi Capitals)

Mitchell Starc was bought last year by Kolkata Knight Riders for a whopping price of 24.75 crores, making him the then highest priced player in IPL History. However, the Aussie star was not retained and he went under the hammer this season. Delhi Capitals cashed him for a cut price of 11.75 crores. Though his price is lot, but it surely is a good bargain buy given his ability to bag wickets at the start and as well in death overs.

5. Mohit Sharma (₹2.2 Crore, Delhi Capitals)

Mohit Sharma was a key figure over the last 2 years in IPL for Gujarat Titans. But this season he was sold for a price of 2.2 crores and Delhi Capitals once again picked him for a cut price. Mohit Sharma being a veteran adds quality into the squad and the brings in loads of experience. And lastly his ability of picking wickets in death overs makes him a solid player.
