3 teams that might target Cameron Green in IPL 2025 mega auction

In IPL 2024, Cameron Green was a part of the Royal Challengers Bengaluru camp.

IPL 2025: Cameron Green was a part of the Mumbai Indians squad before he was traded to RCB for IPL 2024. The Australian all-rounder did not have much of a say with both the bat and the ball in the last edition. With the 2025 IPL mega auction coming up, several teams will be targeting Green if he is not retained by RCB. Let us check out 3 such teams that might bid for Cameron Green for IPL 2025.

Teams that might target Cameron Green for IPL 2025

Mumbai Indians (MI)

As mentioned above, Cameron Green was a part of the MI squad earlier. The five-time IPL champs might want to bring back Green in their squad. Additionally, MI has a history of investing in all-rounders which has duly paid dividends. As a result, we can see Cameron Green donning the MI jersey once again in the IPL 2025 edition.

Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH)

SRH might look to strengthen their squad with a versatile player like Green. His aggressive batting and effective bowling could provide the balance they need. In SRH, Cameron Green can join his Australian teammates, including skipper Pat Cummins and dasher Travis Head.

Punjab Kings (PBKS)

Apart from Sam Curran, PBKS does not have gun seam-bowling all-rounders on their side. Though they have Rishi Dhawan in the mix, the 33-year-old could not do justice to his all-rounder role. PBKS can definitely target Cameron Green, with Aussie veteran Ricky Ponting also joining the Punjab camp as the head coach.
