Ravichandran Ashwin

Whatever we say, it is less for this impressive spinner, Ravichandran Ashwin. With 212 IPL games, 700+ runs, and 180 wickets, a spin bowler who can also play spin and destroy it with his batting. There are speculations that the Rajasthan Royals may look for some changes since they want to strengthen their core by retaining some youngsters who could be the future.

If this happens, then Ashwin could go under the hammer, and many teams will pursue him, making him highly sought after in the IPL 2025 mega auction. Who knows, Ashwin, who currently receives 5 crore from the Rajasthan Royals, may attract bids from several teams looking to add an experienced bowler to their camp.

Rashid Khan

Gujarat Titans’ current asset who may get released is Rashid Khan, and the only reason is the inconsistency we experienced in his form during the last IPL. Khan, who came back from injury, didn’t have a good outing. There is no question that the team depends on him a lot, and his poor performances are also one of the reasons why Gujarat Titans failed to put up impressive performances like they did in 2023 and 2022. Rashid only managed to take 10 wickets across 12 games with an economy rate of 8.40, he typically took at least 15 wickets per season, but this time he fell short. However, if he gets released, many teams will undoubtedly pursue his services, given his experience and how valuable he could be as a team player, making him one of the best choices.

R Sai Kishore

One more GT player who could be a big name at the auction table if he gets released by the franchise is R Sai Kishore, due to his all-round ability. Since GT hasn’t used him well, he has played a total of only 10 games in his IPL career, which started in 2022, with 13 wickets to his name. However, everyone knows how valuable he could be for the team, with more than 160 first-class wickets and 60 T20 cricket appearances, boasting an outstanding economy rate of 5.61. He could surely become an impressive buy if he goes into the auction.
