Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) management decided to release their fast bowling option Josh Hazlewood ahead of the IPL 2024 Auction. After leaving him, they would be looking for his replacements in the team. They do have a wide range of potential candidates to choose from for the upcoming season. 3 possible replacements for Hazlewood in IPL 2024 Auction
- Mitchell Starc – After playing in 2015, the left arm bowler will appear in IPL 2024. The Starc is a player to keep an eye on as he has 34 wickets in 27 games at a low economy of 7.17 and a striking average of 17.06. The Australian fast has been playing well lately; in the just finished ODI World Cup 2023, he took 16 wickets.
- Pat Cummins – Missing last season to focus on the ODI World Cup 2024, Australian captain Pat Cummins will feature in IPL 2024 Auction. In 42 matches of IPL, he has taken 45 scalps. The pace bowling all-rounder strikes the ball at 152.21 and has scored the 3rd fastest 50 in the IPL.
- Umesh Yadav – Umesh Yadav can return to his former IPL team RCB. He had played for 27 matches and picked 28 scalps for RCB. Overall, Umesh has taken 136 wickets in his IPL career.
