Kuldeep Yadav

Kuldeep Yadav has also been left out of the squad as he was unavailable for selection due to long-term treatment for a chronic left groin issue at the BCCI Centre of Excellence. Kuldeep would have been a key bowler, as his finger spin would have been advantageous on the pitches in Australia. Additionally, he has a strong record against the Australians, having taken nine wickets in just two matches.

Mayank Yadav

Mayank Yadav could have made a significant impact with his speed on the Australian pitches. However, reports suggest that he also missed the opportunity due to an injury. The right-arm pacer would have posed a challenge for the Australian batsmen at home, but India will have to wait for the young bowler to fully recover.
