Jasprit Bumrah

Insidesport

Team India’s pace spearhead has been exceptional with the ball in the tournament. The 29-year-old has picked up 15 wickets in 8 matches has been very economical for the Men in Blue in both powerplay and death overs. With a crucial semi-final against New Zealand in sight, the team would not want to risk their star pacer. Prasidh Krishna is likely to replace Bumrah for the Netherlands game.

Mohammed Siraj

Mohammed Siraj has been another key player who has contributed massively in Team India’s success in the tournament so far. The pacer has picked up 10 wickets in 8 games and will again have a huge role to play against the New Zealand batters. He is also likely to be rested for the clash. All-rounder Shardul Thakur can be an apt replacement for the Hyderabad-born pacer.

Kuldeep Yadav

Another bowler who has been immense in the World Cup so far for the Men in Blue. The spinner has wracked up 12 wickets in 8 games at an average of 22.58. The chinaman bowler could be rested to make way for Ravichandran Ashwin who has played just one game in the tournament so far.
